Check out the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, fully embracing his hearing aids at Buckingham Palace! You can hardly see the aids without the help of the zoom in the second photo, and even then there’s just a thin, clear wire. According to the editor of Majesty magazine, Prince Philip’s “hearing has been impaired for some time –” and using hearing aids? “It is just a way of improving his quality of life.” Hopefully we can all take a lesson from Prince Philip and follow his lead. Australian Hearing’s Head of Clinical Support says that the improved hearing can better not only the lives of those with a hearing loss but also “the lives of their families.” With our families in mind this Thanksgiving season, it’s important to make hearing a priority.
